We founded Drift Home from our verandah in 2020 during the pandemic. We have always loved working with our hands and wanted a way to bring natural materials inside the home that felt organic yet luxurious. Jami was already working in the creative industry, while entertaining friends and family at home had always been a big part of our lives growing up—including watching Mom continually refresh and reinvent our home décor. When the pandemic brought entertaining and travel to a standstill, the idea for Drift Home was born: creating charcuterie boards, placemats, coasters and other pieces from natural materials that could transform everyday dining at home into an experience that felt like a getaway.

As the brand gained the attention of major local retailers and event planners, Drift Home naturally evolved. Three years later, we expanded into interior décor, allowing us to bring the Drift Home aesthetic beyond the dining table and into every room of the home. Today, our approach remains rooted in the same belief that inspired us from the beginning: that thoughtful design, natural materials and beautiful details can make home feel like your favourite place to be.
